Privacy Policy
Tachy does not store your data on its own servers. Messages, photos and heart rate are kept only in your own iCloud (provided by Apple). We cannot read them.
1. What we collect and why

Your account is identified by the iCloud identifier Apple provides. We don't ask for your name, email or phone number, and there is no sign-up.
2. Health data (HealthKit)
- We only read heart rate from Apple Watch.
- We use a workout session to keep measuring, but we don't save workouts to the Health app.
- Health data is never used for advertising or marketing, and never shared with or sold to third parties.
- You can revoke access anytime in Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices.
3. Sharing and service providers
We don't share your data with third parties. We use these Apple services only to run the app:
- Apple iCloud (CloudKit) — stores and syncs in your account's private database
- Apple App Store — processes in-app purchases. Tachy never receives or keeps your card details.
What you send to your partner (messages, heart rate, photos, a location you agreed to share) goes to their iCloud because you sent it.
4. Tracking and ads
We don't track you. We don't read the advertising identifier (IDFA), show ads, or include any third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
5. Retention and deletion
- Your data stays in your iCloud until you delete it.
- In the app, My Info > Delete account removes everything from your device and iCloud.
- After a couple disconnects, shared records are cleared after a 7-day grace period. The period is counted on server time, not your device clock.
- Deleting the app leaves your iCloud data in place. Use Delete account to remove it fully.
6. Your rights
- Access and export — My Info > Export my history (photos and CSV).
- Deletion — My Info > Delete account
- Withdraw permissions — turn off Health, Location, Photos or Camera individually in iOS Settings.

7. Children
Tachy is not intended for children under 14 and does not knowingly collect their personal information.
8. Security
- Data is encrypted at rest by Apple iCloud and in transit with TLS.
- We have no access to your private database.
9. Changes
If this policy changes, we'll post it here with a new date. Significant changes are also announced in the app.
